Choosing Your Tube Length

The legs set the height and the tube sets the span, so pick the tube around how many bikes you need to hang and where the stand has to fit. A 1m tube suits a single bike in a workshop or a tight retail corner. A 2m tube is the usual choice for a club gazebo or a small expo stand. A 3m tube is the maximum recommended distance between the legs and gives the widest display without the tube flexing under load. Going wider than 3m is where stability starts to suffer, so run two stands rather than one over-long span.

Using It as a Wash Stand

Hanging a bike by the saddle nose or the top tube gets the drivetrain to working height and lets water and degreaser run straight off instead of pooling. Set the stand up on a slight slope or over a drain, and keep the legs on firm, level ground. The foldable design means the whole stand breaks down into the boot after the event rather than living in the garage taking up space.
