Store your boards securely and safely with this heavy-duty wall bracket.
Four boards on a bracket is real weight cantilevered off a wall, so the fixing matters more than the bracket does. The included 8mm bolts and wall plugs suit solid brick or masonry. If you are fixing into drywall, plasterboard or a timber-framed wall you must locate and bolt into the studs or noggins rather than relying on the supplied plugs. Mount the bracket level, high enough that the lowest board clears anything stored beneath it, and leave enough clearance from the wall for the widest board in your quiver.
Store boards deck-up on the padded bars so the pressure sits on the stronger deck rather than the fins or the glassed rails. Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from a wall that gets hot, since heat is what delaminates a board and yellows the foam. Rinse salt off before racking, and never store a board in a closed bag while it is still wet. The 200mm spacing is there so boards never touch each other; resist the temptation to slot a fifth board in between.
